Families of policemen killed in Tikapur incident to get......
The Nepal Police has said Rs 1 million each as financial relief to the families of police personnel killed during clash with protesters in Tikapur of Kailali district.A press statement issued by the Nepal Police Headquarters on Thursday stated that the ‘Nepal Police Relief Fund’ would provide Rs 1 million each to the families of Senior Superintendent of Police Laxman Neupane, Police Inspectors Balram Bista and Keshav Bohara, Head Constables Shyam Bahadur Khadka and Janak Bahadur Negi and policeman Lokendra Bahadur Chand.
They announced also that the children of the deceased police personnel would be given scholarships for their higher studies. Likewise, the Fund would bear treatment costs of the injured policemen and run income generating program run for them
